Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data is processed on verde-center.com in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek data protection law.

2. What we collect and why
- Contact form: name, email address and your message. Purpose: to receive and answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps towards a contract / partnership) or Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- Newsletter: email address. Purpose: to send you news about VERDE activities and projects. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
- Technical data: anonymised usage and traffic information collected only where you consent to non-essential cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Processors and recipients
Contact form submissions are transmitted through Web3Forms, which delivers the message to our organisational mailbox. Website hosting and email are provided by our service providers under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Retention
Contact-form correspondence is kept for 24 months after the last exchange, unless it becomes part of a project file that must be retained under Erasmus+ or other EU funding rules. Newsletter data is kept until you withdraw consent. Project documentation is retained for the period required by the relevant funding programme (typically 5 years after final payment).
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time. To exercise any right, write to info@verde-center.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Hellenic DPA website).
6. Children
Where our youth activities involve participants under 18, personal data is processed only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian and in line with the requirements of the relevant funding programme.
7. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our activities or in the law. The current version is always published on this page.
